Cassidy R Van de Graaf (she/her/hers)

Cassidy is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist for Individuals. She specializes in trauma and anxiety-related disorders and has experience treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorders, Social Anxiety Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyper-activity Disorder, and other forms of Neurodivergence.

Cassidy has a passion for assisting and guiding clients in understanding how childhood and adult trauma, life stressors, relationships, and environmental factors are impacting their daily functioning and current relationships. Cassidy uses a plethora of evidence-based treatments including but not limited to: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic-based EMDR, Nervous System Regulation Techniques, The Poly-Vagal Theory, Narrative Exposure Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and parts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Cassidy tailors each client’s treatment to their unique needs.

Cassidy works specifically with clients 18 years and older. Cassidy has experience working with both young and older adults, the LGBTQ+ Community, Veterans, mothers, fathers, college and graduate students, and adults identifying as neurodivergent.

Cassidy recently completed and received a certificate in Somatic-Based EMDR through The Embody Lab. Cassidy is continuing to educate herself and solidify her knowledge in this modality and will be offering this in the coming months to clients who are interested.

Outside of the therapy space, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, being outside, reading, and traveling to new places. Cassidy also enjoys adding new indoor plants to her ever-growing collection and is an avid-tea drinker.
